Shipping & Returns

Payment:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover charge cards as well as Paypal for payment of purchases made on Canfields.com. When an order is placed, your credit card will be pre-authorized with your credit or debit card issuer. This pre-authorization may affect the amount of available credit on your credit or debit card. We submit the final charge to your credit or debit card at the time of shipping.

Shipping:

Order Processing:

Orders are processed through canfields.com on the conditions that you accept all of the following:

Orders are processed at our Omaha, NE location Monday through Friday. Orders placed by 1 PM CST on weekdays ship same day, and orders placed after this time will ship the next business day. Orders placed on weekends will ship the next business day. All orders can have up to a 48 hour processing time.

Orders Do Not Ship from Our location on the following Holidays:

  • New Year's Day
  • 4th of July
  • Memorial Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Once your order has been packed and shipping label has been created, you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number so you can follow your package’s progress online.

Shipping Rates:

If you live within the Lower 48, we provide Free Standard Shipping on all qualifying purchases of $50.00 or more.

Please Note: When Free Standard Shipping is selected, Canfield’s determines the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. These carriers can include: U.S. Postal Service and UPS. Some items require a signature for delivery.

Free Shipping Offer Excludes Oversize Items like:

  • Kayaks, Canoes, Paddleboards
  • Camp & Paddle Sport Trailers
  • Coolers

Oversize items are restricted to In-Store Pickup only at our physical location in Omaha, NE. If you should like to arrange alternative shipping, please contact us at customerservice@canfields.com.

If you choose expedited shipping, or purchase items under $50.00, the shipping charge is based on weight and the dimensions of the package.

Estimated Shipping Times:

Standard Shipping time is approximately 3-7 business days. Estimated arrival dates on all shipping methods are not guaranteed. Weather and other unforeseen circumstances may impact your package’s delivery time.

Estimated arrival dates can also be affected by the following:

  • Deliveries to Hawaii, Alaska, and rural areas.
  • Weather and service disruptions by our shipping carriers.
  • Items that are out of stock at the time the order is placed.
  • Incorrect shipping information on your order.

Choosing expedited shipping expedites the shipping time, not the order processing time. Example: Choosing UPS 2nd Day Air means that once your order ships it should arrive within 2 days of it being shipped. It does not mean that you will receive it 2 days from when you placed your order.

Warranty:

At Canfield’s Sporting Goods, we personally select all of the products we carry and meet with our manufacturers and representatives on a regular basis. If you have any warranty issues with a product you purchase from us, we will help work with the manufacturer to take care of the problem.   

Backorders & Cancellations

Once you submit an order, the order begins processing and cannot be changed. If you should need to cancel an order, please contact us by email at customerservice@canfields.com or by phone Monday - Friday 10AM - 5PM CST at 402.393.3363. Please note that we are only able to cancel orders that have not yet left our shipping facility.

In the event that Canfield’s cannot fulfill your order, we will attempt to contact you via the information provided with your order before cancelling the affected items. In the case that an item is currently out of stock, but we think we will be getting more soon, you will have the option of keeping the order open for fulfillment. We will not charge you for these backordered items until they ship.

Returns:

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, send it back! We accept returns of products purchased online within 30 days of the original purchase date. You may also return items purchased online to our physical location in Omaha, NE. Proof of purchase is required.

Returning Items:

If you do need to return an item, please use the following guidelines:

  • Items must be in new condition in order to be returned. New condition means that the item is as it would be displayed on our sales floor and has the original Canfield’s Sporting Goods and manufacturer tags attached. Unfortunately we will not be able to accept return items that are “gently” tried.
  • Please retain all original packaging until you decide you are satisfied with your purchase. This will make the returns process easier in the event you would like a return.
  • We must be able to verify proof of original purchase. Please note your name and order number with any returned item.
  • All sales of climbing equipment, quadcopters, paintball & airsoft guns are final. We will be unable to accept returns on these items for any reason.

Mailing your Return:

Please pack your returns securely to ensure the items safe return to our store. Feel free to reuse our packaging! You should be able to recycle the original shipment packaging to send your items back to us. Make sure to obscure any old shipping labels to help the package move quickly through the postal system.

Remember to include your name, order number, and contact information inside your shipment as this will expedite your returns process. When you mail a return, we recommend that you use postal carrier that utilizes a tracking number and to insure the shipment. Any returned items remain your responsibility until we receive them and make sure they meet our return policies noted above.

Refunds & Exchanges:

All refunds are returned to the payment method used for the original purchase. We will contact you with the information provided by your returns form should we have any questions regarding your original order. Please allow 7-14 days for us to receive your return. Once we process your returned items, we will send you an email confirming we are refunding your order to your original payment method.

Please note that Canfield's does not automatically send out exchanges for returned products. Your payment method will be refunded once we recieve and process your return. You may reorder at anytime as these are seperate transactions.
